Vivian Maier

A friend forwarded this story to me on Vivian Maier. I like her story for a few reasons off the top of my head – 1) How many people who live quietly amongst us are doing something spectacular and we don’t know it? 2) Maier’s photography is beautiful. Thousands of images to be discovered, thousands of clicks from her perspective of her surroundings. 3) As a girl I loved Mary Poppins. (One article compared Maier to Poppins) She seemed a good mix of fun and boundaries, plus she could fit a whole slew of things in her one bag which makes me think she’d be great to take camping. Oh yeah, she could fly.
There are many reasons to appreciate this beautiful discovery.
