Flowers and Scissors (and Wind)

March 8, 2011

My snappy point and shoot is in the shop. I’m sad. It’s windy, really windy right now. That makes me happy. I was born in March. March is a windy month. “Wind” was one of my first words. My mom said if I was outside during a windy spell I would shake my hair and happily say, “wiiiiiiinnnnnd!”. ย The image of the woman with the scissors is the woman who used to cut my hair; not when I was a wee lass, but when I was in my 30’s. For the record, I’m still a wee lass. When she cut my hair I always admired her sinewy, dexterous hands and long arms. Snip, snip, snip. I’m sharing some random information with you all right now. Think I better stop. Goodnight blog land. May the wind lull you to sleep…
