Un Cuoco Unico Eccellente!

I sure hope Babel Fish got that translation right.

What I’m saying is, Edoardo Baldi is an excellent chef! I was lucky enough to photograph him in his Beverly Hills restaurant, E. Baldi, for Lavazza’s coffee magazine. Lucky indeed because Edoardo is the master of creating beautiful desserts and a pasta dish I wish I never ate because I just want more. Sweet corn agnolotti, mascarpone, truffle butter – eat it, wash it down with a glass of wine, and you don’t need to do anything else, ever.  The shoot was 11 days ago, and I’m still dreaming about those little flavor pillows of bliss.

Here are a couple shots of the master and one of his desserts that I don’t think is on the menu. I just keep thinking about agnolotti, agnolotti, truffle butter, truffle butter…. yummm….  I didn’t get a shot of that dish because I ate it.
